VARIETY & ABUNDANCE OF OREGON

Wine is food.

There are no favorites. What is coming to the table dictates our bottle of the moment.

Bright, crisp whites to unctuous barrel-fermented Chardonnay, pretty Pinot Noir to massive Zinfandel; it's good to have choices in the house.

These wines express our own backyard. Inspired winemaking in Cascadia with Columbia Gorge and Willamette Valley grapes. Unfined and unfiltered.

The Wines

In Oregon, Pinot Noir is the star. Ours is sourced from friends at Sunnyside Vineyard in the south Salem hills. Planted in 1970 to Wadenswil and Gamay Beaujolais clones, it is one of the oldest vineyards in the Willamette Valley.

Our old-vine Gewurztraminer and Riesling share this home.

From the eastern Columbia Gorge we bring in warm-climate varieties Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Each vintage our Rose' and the big red blend we call ‘Bastard Red-the Offspring’ are created from choices of the moment; a spontaneous, running assessment of where we are now and where we want the wine to be in a few years.

Our current releases are always fresh and lively. If you have patience, aging for years will only enhance their character.
